Hi,I am now trying to simulate the drop formation from a capillary pipe under the gravity. I have tried to use flow-3d to do the job and make the pressure as the motivation, but failed. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks in advance!

forget, the radius of the pipe is 1mm. Of course surface tension is important,so I choose Flow-3D.

The technical support at flow science has always been great. Did you ask them for help?

In the examples with flow-3d the gravity is ignored. Considering the gravity I have tried about 100 times but faild. The necking can't appear.

As suggested by Mr. Park, please contact Flow Science support at support@flow3d.com for help. Let them know the details of your problem, what you're trying to learn (as well as where you're at) and I'm sure you'll get great help.
