Does anybody know any tool to visualize the pattern of a matrix? (usually of sparse matrix)

If you have Matlab it perform this by function spy, else there is some subroutine (FORTRAN)in SPARSKIT pakage (http://www-users.cs.umn.edu/~saad/software/) that gets the matrix in sparse format (such as CSR) and make a postscript picture related to sparsity patern.
