To add to my portfolio I would like to know what is the best FEA or CAE package. I have seen ANSYS but it is much over-valued for what it is. The geometry building is not good and they only present simple boxes or rod for their FEA cases
What is your experience R.A. |

There is no "best" FEA code. There are the big 3-Ansys, Nastran, Abaqus and a host of smaller ones and if they solve your particular problems then they are the best for you. Each has certain strengths and all overlap quite a bit.
