hi there... i am looking for commercial software that c an perform two-phase flow with variable surface tension (marangoni effect). any suggestion is greatly appreaciated. thank you very much. yf

Hi,
Check out www.openfoam.org. You get source code, so that you might be able to do it yourself. Currently, it has timeVaryingConactAngle, that is, wall contact as a function of time. It should be quite straight forward to make the surface tension as a function of time (or location). But, I have not tried this myself. To make sure of this, contact www.opencfd.co.uk. Pei |
