single bubble simulation.

i want to do simulation of a single spherical bubble rising in cylindrical column.can any one help me in this regard?

Since you're intending to work with bubbles, I guess a level set method could be helpuf to you. According to the bubbles rises you'll need to take account the surface tension effects and with LS it's easy to work with such effects.

|
I recommend you to refer to the ghost fluid method (treat with sharp density discontinous) and the level set method (track the interface and correspondingly solve the surface tension force).
