Default Operator Splitting for Compressible Flow

Hi,

Could anyone point me in the direction of some literature on operator splitting (i.e. viscous splitting) techniques for compressible viscous flows?

In particular, I want to solve the Euler equations (inviscid part) using an explicit Godunov 2nd order solver (which I already have working) and I want to solve the remaining viscous flux terms using an implicit formulation.

Any information on these types of implicit formulation would be great!

Thanks,

Mike.
