Dear Members,

I would like to know about any method to understand the non-linear motion of Floating Circular Cylinders subjected to large amplitude motions.

regards

Try to read C. C. Mei's book. Most of the theories are really about finite amplitude motions.

For very large amplitude motions, WAVEMIT model is good but expensive in computation. It's a commerical code, but you may find it's scientific manual online.
