Unstructured mesh adaptation is now widely used in numerical simulations to improve the accuracy of the solutions as well as to capture the behavior of physical phenomena. The software Fluent have the feature which Adapting the Mesh , and give some examples for fluid problems.
however , when i used this feature for pump numerrical simulation ,the accuracy is not beter than general method.
Meanwhile , i can not find paper using this methd for pump numerrical simulation.
This mean that Adapting the Mesh in fluent is not suit for pump, and why?
