Hello I am a student doing research into CFDs as a possible replacement of wind tunnel simulations. I am very much a beginner so help and insight would be very much appreciated.
I was wondering if their has been any work into finding ways of simulating 3 second gusts? I am working currently with fluent and have been looking at Large Eddy Modelling techniques, my second question is their any way to get around the turbulence modelling just enough to get a strong definition of maximum gust speeds? |
