I am working in the area of combustion in gas turbines using star cd. I have been encountered with a typical problem of fuel droplet sprays. When I select explicit defined parcel injection where I can define the droplet parameters ie droplet break up by reitz diwakar method, droplet sizes by rosin rammler method ,droplet wall interaction as Bai method and here there is no mention of cone angle. When I use nozzle for droplet sprays I can select droplet break up by reitz diwakar method and also cone angle can be given input but i cannot define droplet sizes by rosin rammler method ,droplet wall interaction as Bai method. In the refered journal paper they have mentioned bot cone angle and also rosin rammler method has been used. So, Kindly let me know how to proceed.

I have done a 3D combustion analysis of Rolls-Royce ae 3007 combuster in CFD ACE+ with the point and annular injectors.
I have not used the plain jet (nozzle) injector but I am sure the Rosin-Rammler is available only to specify the droplet size/atomization in point and annular injectors. But for the plain jet (nozzle) you need to specify injector diameter, cone angle and number of parcels for atomization parameters using both blob & bls models for plain jet.
