Hello, dear collegues!
I have my code and I have implemented in it a boundary condition with heat exchange through the wall. The wall thickness is not zero, it is varyable in general case. On the other side of the wall might be other fluid so that there's heat exchange with that second fluid or might be no computational domain and temperature distribution on the outer surface of the wall. The wall temperature is changing in longitudinal direction. Now I need a simple test case to verificate this BC so to compare with experiment or\and theory. I've searched through the internet and think about smth like double concentric tube heat exchanger (double pipe heat exchanger). But the most cases that I found are with water (my numerical method works with gases only - incompressible fluids don't suit) and\or with walls with no thickness. Thus I need to find a simple test case with compressible fluid and with walls with finite thickness (I suppose some simple pipe heat exchanger). I would be grateful for your ideas. Thank you in respect! Anya |
