Hi,

i have downloaded the grid file of ONERA M6 wing from
http://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/wind/val...ng/m6wing.html

there the geometric details are also shown in figure 2.

the wing in the grid has root chord length of 0.673m but in drawing it is 0.8059m, (the whole wing is scaled), so which config to use for flow analysis

Also does any one have its iges model???

Hello,

If the whole wing in the grid is scaled (by a same factor in the x,y,z direction) then you can readily use the grid, but take caution that the reference length to be used by the simulation (that defines the Reynolds number) must also be scaled by the same factor.

if you would like to have an unscaled grid, please contact me at

http://ecfd.nlr.nl/index.php/contact-us-now

and I may be able to let you have the grid, cgns and tecplot files, and run simulations through the framework of eCFD.

Best regards,
Bambang

Hi,
I'm trying to run a oneraM6 wing in su2. I got the wing root co-ordinates and I'm looking for a wing tip co-ordinates. so that I can make a real onera M6 wing and do a flow analysis by making a 3D mesh in gmsh.
If any body have the .geo file or the .dat for wing tip co-ordinates can please mail me to mdmasood36@gmail.com. or post it here. I really appreciate your help, I have to wrap my project.

Thank you.
