Hi everyone!
I am try to simulating a turbulence and heat transfer problem with chtMultiregionFoam. But I have a problem. How to split mesh volume by two parts - solid and liquid? I know that, MakeCellsets.setSet file in tutorial case create it by boxes. But in my simulation geometry is not consist of parallelepiped only. Thank you very much! regards! |

Hi, I am also confused how to split the region if my region is irregular. May I ask what is SHM? I am a beginner, and my question may seem stupid. I meshed my geometry in ICEM, and saved it as a fluent mesh, now I have converted it in openfoam, but I don't know how to split the region, could you please give me a hand? Thanks!

sHM = SnappyHexMesh, the OpenFoam default mesher.
take a look at the heat exchange tutorial to see how to get multiple zones |
