I am running a simulation of a 2D Piston. The geometry is an enclosed 2D rectangle, in which two sides are the piston. I am using Fluent. The motion of the pistons are specified by UDF. I am using dynamic mesh. The size of the time step is 2E-6 and the Cell height I am using is 8E-5. My case ran fine for 1500 time steps but it gave me an error of Negative Volume. I appreciate if anyone can help

Try the fluent forum. You are more likely to find a fluent expert there.

How do you use you dynamic mesh, which method is applied for its motion, layering, smoothing or local re-meshing ? Maybe different results can be obtained ~
