We are a startup interested in bringing CFD modeling capacity into our facility.

We are attemtping to select a Fluent or StarCD licence for modeling two-phase flow and chemical reactions at the surface of a poreous catalyst common to fuel cell technology.

Does the community have strong opinions on the software and hardware packages for CFD modeling of such systems? We are looking at this with a long term vision; say the next five years?

I am also interested in highly experienced CFD modelers with expertise in the specific areas listed above.

Thank you

A lot of your question has been discussed several times. You can acquire a lot of the info you need (and more quickly) by searching the cfd-online archieves. Just don't expect a strong concensus!

Good luck!
