Default SIMPLE and SIMPLEC

Dear ALL,

I have some questions about SIMPLEC. 1. Does the SIMPLE with momentum relaxtion term = 1 - pressure relaxation term gets me convergence that SIMPLEC will give me.

2. Can you suggest a paper where SIMPLE and SIMPLE are compared.

You can find it in a well known Dr. M. Peric's thesis(page 132)

Pnew=Pold +alpa_p*P'

alpa_p=1 - alpa_u
