CFD Survey

We are planning to put a flow solver on the market and are doing a customer survey. A web page giving access to a free hybrid grid generator controlled by a GUI plus related source code and a CFD screen saver will be made available to the first 100 people who fill out the survey with care and send it to cfd_survey@telus.net.

A number of vendors provide codes tailored to specialized applications that are relatively simple to use. If applicable, please describe a specialized application that is of interest to you.

Often the source code released by a company have no use, I have no interest in this kind of survey

Is this a smart move to collect email addresses or an intelligent move to get the readers of this forum to evaluate your product. If it is the former then rest assured you will not get mine but if it is the latter put a link to a compiled version of the product, preferrably Window, and sure you will get real feed back

As to me, this is a joke...

Thank you to all who responded to the survey which is now complete. It has given me excellent information on what features and capabilities the code should have. I will be sending the promised information to all survey respondents. Please allow me a month to send the information due to unforeseen circumstances. If any respondent does not want me to send out the information, please let me know.

I be announcing my commercial site in a few months as a news item. No spam will be sent out to respondents as some have suggested.
