Could any one help me in starting with my project named FEM analysis of gas turbine blade and its optimization, if anayone help me by providing material about this topic... I really need help... Thanking in anticipation Fayyaz Husain

Dear Fayyaz;
please clearly specify the type of FEM analysis. are you going to model stresses exerted to blade? if yes, you should firstly specify the forces acting on blade surfaces (namely centrifugal force and gas bending and torsional forces) by either a CFD analysis or easier analytic methods.
then, you should answer that what is going to be optimized in your analysis? in other words you should specify a objective function which determines the direction of an optimization analysis. a more detailed information about your project is required.
