hi

i am carrying out grid convergence study. by searching some literature i came across the term "Grid Aspect Ratio"... and it is said that it should be constant for all the grids created. also in some literature the grid aspect ratio is the ratio of the maximum edge length to the shortest edge length. while it is also defined as ratio of number of points in x direction to number of points in y direction. there are other terms also like cell aspect ratio and domain aspect ratio.

Ref: http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/ca...2008014274.pdf

so my question is for grid convergence what definition should be followed
