I am working in the ball valve industry. We are looking for the CFD software that can do some flow control analysis, calculate Cv for different positions of the disc. Anyone can suggest the CFD software can fulfuil the requirement. I know Ansys-CFX and fluent are at least 15000 US per license. Thank you in advance.

I dont think you will get any good software within your range. As per my knowledge fluent and CFX are much more expensive than 15k USD per license (for purchase). This cost may be for lease.

Ahmed, I would personally add my backing to Flo++. I have used it very successfully for my FVM research work, for a number of years now. The support team at Flo++ is great. They have been very helpful with some especially odd requests from my end.
