Hello,

I have question for estimation of the first cell size by given Y+. I remember there are discussuins with equations on manual of Fine Turbo.

y=6*(ref. vel/ref.visc.)**(-7/8)*(ref. length/2)**(1/8)*Y+

k=1.5*((turb kin.energy[%])*ref. vel.)**2

epsilon=Cmu/turb. dissipation*k**2/kinetic viscosity)

I would like to know which range is suitable for this equations regarding to RE# with other equations I can use. If anyone have table for the y-estimation with respect to Re#, would you please tell me? Or if someone knows references, book/papers, please tell me? I think the table was on Fine/Turbo's manual that now I am not with it unfortunately.

Sincerely, Kensuke Suzuki
