Reg: Junk mails

Dear Friends,
It has become common these days for some people, who are possibly non-CFD practitioners to post junk mails on the forum and also as reply to questions by other CFD colleagues (See kool's post below). This is not the first time this has happened. Unfortunately, being an open forum, we cannot possibly prevent someone from making a post, but I suppose it can be deleted quickly once such a psot is made. I request the Administrator(s) to look into this issue and take necessary action. Regards Ganesh |

We delete a bunch of spam posts every day and ban offending IP numbers permanantly. I think the benefit of having an open forum which does not require any registration or login is quite big, that is why we keep it open and keep removing spam messages whenever we find them. We could use some help with this though, so people who are long-term forum users and who would like to help with deleting spam when they find it are very welcome to contact me at webmaster@cfd-online.com to get authorization to delete spam posts and ban offending IP numbers.
