Now i am doing a project in Computational Fluid dynamics and i want to solve the Three dimensional lid driven cavity problem computationally by using SIMPLE-algorithm approach (S.V. Patankar)with multigrid method for fast convergence but presently i am working on 2-Dimensioanl lid problem...........Actually we are solving Navier-Stoke's equations of nonlinear form and we discretized in a linear way so my question is: ----- By which method that we should solve those linear discretized equations that means: using "coarse-grid correction scheme which is used for linear equations" or " Full approximation scheme used for nonlinear equations".
I hope u may known about SIMPLE-algorithm approach and my second question is: How to solve "Pressure-correction equation" by multigrid mehod." i am having so many doubts regarding multigrid method and presently i am giving two of them before u. I am very greatful if u can respond to this mail and send regarding material or journals. please help me in my project.....i am waiting for ur reply.......... Skumar |
