Hello, I wanted to confirm is it possible to change the boundary conditions during the solution cycle of an LES simulation?

somehow, the answer is yes... for statistically steady flows, once you have reached an energy equilibrium you can change the boundary condition, for example the slip of a wall. However, you will get into a numerical transient, until a new state in equilibrium is reached.

It is also possible to have time-dependent BC
