Hello everyone!

I am in need of a code that can merge the all zones in a cgns file into one single zone.

I was planning on writing the code myself, but was thinking that i should check to see if someone here already have done the same thing and, if willing to share, could save me the trouble

Cheers!

the code is about 70% done.. i have only tried it for tri, tet and hex elements but it should be working for all other different types as well (at least in theory). what has to be added now is the ability to merge zones with different element types... still working on that part, but it should be finished soon

Hi,
I'm new here so didn't see this before. Is there an easy code to do the reverse? I'm finding most codes need a zone per processor. I wrote my own grid generator which writes a specified number of zones but if I want to run on more processors I have to rerun my grid generator (although actually I tend just to make a grid with 100's of zones to start with). Might be eaiser to split a single zone grid into a multigrid though.
