Hi I am a research fellow, on the verge of completing my doctoral thesis.

Ashish,
sounds like you're looking for applying your acquired skill set thru a consulting setup. There are groups/companies looking for discrete studies on this or that aspect of their product, but never long term (otherwise they hire someone full time). Some companies don't even do with consultants as they're (rightly) worried about retaining IP. So most important unfortunately is going to be finding customers. And that'll be thru your personal network of connections, or your location if you find yourself in a vibrant R&D hub. Good luck! |
