I would certainly suggest considering a postgraduate MSc as a serious way to move forward with a CFD career. Universities in the UK such as Cranfield and Manchester offer excellent courses (for example). I myself did the Advanced Motorsport Engineering MSc at Cranfield and specialised in CFD, the staff are experts in their field and offer great tutition. There is also a dedicated CFD course at the uni which I have heard focuses on the application of CFD and has strong industrial links.
