If you already have a mesh (created with Gambit) why would need a new one created with Meshing?

Have you tried reading the mesh in serial mode? Do you get the same error message as with parallel mode? Are you running Fluent within Workbench or as a plain program?

If you can read the mesh in serial mode, maybe you could save the case and read it once again in parallel mode. This is admittably quite a long shot. Most likely there is something amiss in the Meshing file. You could also try to post the error message here.

Open command prompt (cmd.exe) - Type CMD in start menu search bar.
In Command Prompt, type: cd (fluent folder path)
e.g.: cd C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v121\fluent\ntbin\win64
Press Enter
It should now say: C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v121\fluent\ntbin\win64>
Type: fluent (dimension)(double precision if wanted) (-t(number of parallel cores to be used))
e.g.: fluent 3ddp -t3
Press Enter
This will make fluent run in 3d mode, with Double Precision, using 3 cores (advised on a 4-core machine so you can still use it for basic tasks during solve.)

See if that works
Hey Hai

what ever you have said is applicable for running it in paralle with in the host, but How do you run a single job in prallel on different Cpus
