Does anyone know which CPU would be better for FloEfd, w9-3475x or w9-3495x ?
The 3495x has more cores but lower top speed per core. Since the CPU might be bottlenecked by the ram (8 channels of ddr5 6000), would it be better to go with the 3475X to get some more speed per core?

I don't think cores beyond 36 are going to speed up CFD calculations. So you could save money and go with the w-3475x. My 7800x3d has 1/4 times your bandwidth. From 6 to 8 cores I improve only about 3%. (I also run the memory at 6000 MT/s. So my six cores would be 24 cores on the w-3475x. So beyond 36 cores there is probably not much to gain.
