CFD folks,

When doing larger simulation jobs in CFX, I usually use two HP nodes with 8 cores each, connected with gigabit ethernet. However, when finilizing a simulation, it takes "forever" to write the end result file. How can I best determine the bottleneck here?

I attach a screenshot of the network activity, where green is total data communication, yellow is sending, and red receiving data. Here it took more than 4 minutes to merge/write the file and finish up. Shouldn't it be quicker than that? End file is 5GB.
