Hi all,
I'm going to install a Windows (8) desktop system for running ANSYS CFD (Fluent) applications, Matlab, and other "usual" software. I have 2x SDD 256GB + 1x HDD 3TB (attached to Asus Sabertooth X79, i7 3930k, 64 GB DDR3 @ 2400 Mhz) What is the best utilization of these disks ? I remember having read tips about splitting installation of OS / ANSYS / cache / workdir / etc. on different disks and/or partitions, but cannot find the thread anymore. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks a lot and have a nice day, TMC |
