Hi everyone,
I'm trying to conduct actuator disc modelling, by using Fluent's fan boundary condition. To radially discretize the pressure drop, My actuator disc is composed of many concentric fan boundaries. This has worked well for all m cases except the final one at speed of 25m/s. Then the solution diverges. I've tried to reduce the urf, but to no avail. This only occurs when I use a polynomial to describe the pressure drop against velocity. When I use a fixed pressure drop, it converges. Does anyone have any idea about what might be going wrong? The divergence also occurs with all the turbulence models. |
