FLUENT negative volume

I have developed a fairly complex mesh in ANSA. When I do a mesh check in ANSA for negative volumes, it does not detect any. When I load the .msh file into fluent however, and do a mesh check there, it finds the minimum volume to be negative. Does anyone know if fluent can somehow display visually, or just spit out the xyz coordinates of where this negative volume is located so I can check it out in ANSA?
thanks |

Hi there,
Have you checked the mesh quality in ANSA to see if there are any skewed elements? Which ANSA version are you using? Could it be that you have very small length scales and you need to run the double precision version of Fluent? Best regards Vangelis |
