Dear Fluent users,

I have the .cas and .dat files for a series of steady state simulations. I would now like to know the time it took to reach convergence for those simulations. From looking at the different options on the menu I have found no such option.

Is there perhaps a TUI command where I can access the solution time to ascertain the time it took to reach convergence for previously ran simulations?

I very much appreciate any help/guidance.

Is there really no command to access the simulation execution time?

I don't think that fluent stores any information on excecution time in case or data files. Once a fluent session is closed this data is lost. Maybe you can estimate the wall clock time for a given run from the date at which consecutive .dat has been saved

cheers

Thank you Max. It would seem as if this unfortunatly not stored. However, your suggestion of looking at the wall clock time is brilliant. Since the simulations where run consequtively, this is an excellent solution. It would have been nice to have the residual vs. time data available, such that the point of convergence could more accurately be assessed. In any case, you have helped me a lot and I feel stupid for not thinking of this simple solution myself!
