Hi Guys,

I have modelled the flow of 3 phases in a reactor using the euler-euler model.

I have carried out transient modelling and activated the statistics tab to obtain the mean velocity magnitude contours for the simulated time.

What I would like to know is if there's any way of obtaining the mean residence time in the reactor using the mean velocity magnitude or is there some other method to determine it?

Any input would be highly appreciated,

Thanks!!
