Dynamic Mesh issue

Hi all!
I am simulating airfoil plunging at some angle of attak as shown in schematic dia below. But the solver gives motion as shown in this image no 2: My udf consist , omega[0]= -30*dtr*omegat*cos(time*omegat). What is the solution for this issue. Thanks in advance. |

I am doing something similar myself. When using the omega[] function, the motion you are prescribing is rotational. This will always produce an arc type motion about the CG you prescribed while setting up the the dynamic mesh options. Also, you should be careful about what axis you want this rotation to be about as defined by the [].
