Hi, all
I have got the simulation result of one period of a periodic model, a impeller-like rotator. Now I want the result of the whole geometry, such as the pressure contour of the rotator wall, the force and moment exerted on the rotator, velocity contour and vectors on a certain cross section and so on. Could anyone tell me how to expand the result of one period to the entire calculation domain. Thanks in advance, and any help would be much appreciated. |

Try using CFD-Post, and use the calculator tab on the tob right, and then function calculator. Or if you're after visuals, try using instancing transforms:
Insert Instancing Transform (name) Untick "Instancing Info From Domain" # of Copies = however many periodic sections you want Choose axis And then full circle |

You can do it on Fluent too.
In the results section, click to view then define and set rotational. I can't be more specific as I don't have fluent on hand right now. Cheers |
