Fluent to Tecplot - 3D slice Velocity Magnitude

Hi
I'm currently post processing 3D case and data files in Tecplot. I am trying to get a vector plot of the Velocity magnitude on the cross section plane of the mesh. I have created a slice where I want the vector plot. When I go to select the variable to plot, it doesnt give me the option to plot Velocity Magnitude, only X Vel, Y Vel or Z Vel. Does anyone know if there is a way of fixing this? |

Just found the answer to this on a different thread on the forum (thanks fremdar!!)
I thoguht i'd post it here anyway in case anyone is having a similar problem: Export a CGNS file from Fluent (selecting velocity magnitude for me) Open the CGNS file in Tecplot using the CGNS Loader in the Tecplot 'Import' menu Last edited by emmkell; January 30, 2012 at 13:46. |
