Which model i have to use for analysis of cyclone type dust collectors.
1. multiphase eulerian + DPM ? OR 2. or only DPM is sufficient.? inlet to the cyclone is flue gas from coal fired boilers. please help me. |

Single phase flow; after steady solution is reached enable dpm and set injection(s).

is DPM sufficient for analysis of cyclone. i am getting divergence error in AMG solver: pressure correction.
after 11 iterations. |

DPM is sufficient for your purpose. Pressure drop predicted by DPM without 2way coupling will be less than the actual value if your particle loading is more than 10%. So you can enable 2way interaction in this case.
