hi all,
I work in an institute which has a cluster for huge cases of fluent. the cluster has about 20 computing node each corei7 and a server and a console which we work on. we have windows xp x64 on all of them up to now, but we have decided to migrate to linux as it is said that linux has more speed in parallel. we must do some works on windows to prepare it to parallel runs(rshd installing and folder sharing). now I dont know what is needed to prepare linux for parallel running of fluent cases. we use fluent 6.3.26 x64 .
it's not so important but we prefer ubuntu as distribution of linux.(desktop version for console and nodes and server version for the server).
any help and comment is appreciated.
thanks,
mohammad

hi max,
thank you for your response. the link helped a lot (it was somewhat old, but I think I can match new changes with it)
it seems that more changes must be done in system than windows.
anyway, thanks again
yours
