I would like to draw a hollow cylinder:
For r<r_int, it's empty
For r_int<r<r_out, it's solid region.

I would like to use the axi-symmetric model:
The x axis is used as the axis. An edge is draw along the x axis and assign in "zone" as axis.
A rectangle is drawn above the x axis to represent the hollow cylinder

But when I tried to export the mesh, the axis is ignored:
"Boundary Entity axis does not contain any valid entity and is not written".

Anyone has hint how to solve this?
Do let me know if the problem is not made clear.

The problem is that you don t have any adjacent cells on revolution-axis
Perhaps you can define and mesh the solid domain, and export it (take care defining it as solid in Continnum type), but I never tried this
Else you could extend your cylinder (even if it is not in your interest) and adjust it with a not-hollow cylinder. With this not-hollow cylinder you will be able to define your axis
