Hello,
I am trying to assign periodic BCs to two sides of an axially protruded circular sector that represents a segment of a cylindrical control volume. This thin (5 degree) slice will be used to solve a combustion problem. When I try to use Match control in the meshing application I get a ludicrous error message: "Warning: The mesher was unable to successfully match the mesh for the following faces/edges. Please verify that the topology is the same shape and size. Also verify the position and orientation of any associated coordinate systems." The shapes and sizes are identical: I used revolve to get the 3D part! I have spent a lot of time with the user guide and have gotten nowhere. How can I match these surfaces so that i can later assign periodic BCs during the setup step in Fluent? Thank you |
