Hello all:

I am trying to model hallow cone spray using pressure swirl atomizer. I read the theory and it is clear that these models are based on experiments conducted on fuel sprays such as Diesel. Not only that these models require a lot of empirical constants as inputs.

My question is I want to model water sprays, will the atomizer model will predict the spray characteristics of water also ?

If any one has done water spray modeling or any one has any idea about this please help me.

Vijay
