hello!
i've started to calculate the transport of particles over a certain terrain based on meteorologic data. my problem is, that i've never worked with such a huge udf and the udf is only programmed for single cores. For calculating only the wind field it's fast enough... but for simulating a fabric with some funnels i had to integrate a finer mesh and now the simulation is too slow. sorry if that's a noobquestion: is there a tool to "convert" a udf to parallel? to convert the whole udf manually to parallel would take too much time, but is it possible to make only some parts of the udf parallel? i've read the manual from fluent but is somewhere maybe a how-to for making a udf parallel? sincerely yours steven |
