Dear Friends,
Does anyone know what is the method that Fluent use for the second order time discretization? Regards, Pej |

When second-order accuracy is desired, quantities at cell faces are computed using a
multidimensional linear reconstruction approach. In this approach, higher-order accuracy is achieved at cell faces through a Taylor series expansion of the cell-centered solution about the cell centroid. |

Dear Anil,
Thanks for your reply. I think what you mentioned is mostly about the spatial discretization not the temporal (time) discretization. Do you know which scheme does Fluent use to descritize time with 2nd order accuracy? Something like Runge-kutta, Adam Bashforth,...? |
