Hello!
I am using ANSYS Fluid Flow Fluent 12.0 to solve this case and I am new to CFD analysis. I cant seem to figure out how to use wall BC to simulate heat transfer between two fluids. I am analyzing the heat transfer between two fluids separated by a metal pipe. I am using the wall boundary condition to separate the fluids. However, i am unable to understand how to use the wall BC. I especially need to calculate the wall heat flux involved :S Can anyone help me with this? any examples or tutorials that can be of help? Thanks in advance! |

Hello,
Follow the below link..It is about the exchange of heat between two fluids separated by walls of copper.... http://www.mae.wmich.edu/faculty/lee...20tutorial.pdf |

I am also working on a similar problem. You can apply either constant temperature or constant heat flux, convection etc. from the boundary conditions tab
