Hi

Im looking at a supercritical airfoil for Re=6.5E6 and M=0.729. I meshed it in icem using a hex mesh and am solving it in fluent. For some reason i cant get convergence in fluent unless the off wall spacing is at atleat y+=220. I know the rule of y+=1 and for the S-A model i can use a max of 10 but none of these off wall spacings will lead to convergence, the residuals only oscillate at these off wall spacings. I really dont understand this. Im using the implicit density based solver and courant number of 1 and still cant get convergence with a smaller y+ value.
