Hi All,
I am currently doing a research on mixing of polymer blend in a Co-rotating twin screw extruder. I intend to use the Fluent solver to simulate the flow and determine the residence time distribution. My questions are:
1) what technique can I use do represent the dynamic motion of the twin screws?
2) which model will be more reliable for the mixing simulation; mixture, VOF or Eulerian?. The polymer blend is a solid granule premix of thermosetting resin with pigment/fillers/additives.
3)which is the best way to treat the boundary condition at the inlet?

Your recommendation will be most appreciated.
