Hi,
I am modelling heat transfer across a pipe, and I have meshed both the fluid in the pipe and the pipe wall In my modelling, i need to specifiy that there is constant heat flux at the outer surface of the pipe wall, but this heat flux will reduce as it penetrate into the wall the problem is heat flux is constant at x-direction, but expontentially decrease in radial direction. Furthermore, I also have written a UDF to define the profile of heat generation for source term in solid zone, but I get error message to say "FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION)" It will be greatly thankful if anyone can advice me how to write such heat flux profile in radial direction |
