My model is a 2D rectangular channel. I am able to move the upper and lower walls of the channel in constant velocity by using udf. I can run the case and look at the results. However when I try to download the results after I saved it (File>write>case and data) , the following error appear:
Error: Build Grid: Aborted due to critical error.
Error Object: #f
Error: access: unbound variable
Error Object: get-var.

Does someone can offer something???!!!!????

if your velocities are constant, why did you use UDF?
if you use dynamic mesh!! it may be the result of negative volumes!

I don't get negative volumes. Actually its running and I can see the results. However, when I try to download it, it says that error.

How do you do it without udf? BC with moving wall. right?

yes, I think moving wall boundaty condition is more reasonable for your case, isn't it?

I will try do that. However it doesn't make sense that the simulation is running and the files are being saved automtically but I can't read them.
Do you have any idea?

I changed the constant velocity (in the udf) of the upper and lower walls of the channel to time dependent velocity. I can saving the data and case but I am not able to read it.

Can you think why????

Thank you

I have to suggestions:
1)keep velocities constant and check whether your problem exists!
2)if you interpreted your UDF, try compiled one and check!

I realized my problem. I used dynamic mesh to move an interior wall. The case was running but couldn't be read after I saved it. When I changed my model and moved the wall (not as an interior), it was able run, save and read.
